How easy is the setup?
You have two options: Go live in 10 minutes self-serve via app.hallomia.io/signup — or with our White-Glove onboarding (€149), you do almost nothing. We configure Mia end-to-end: greeting, tasks, routing, calendar, and voice. After a 30-minute kick-off call, Mia is live in 24–48 hours. The only thing you need to do is point the call forwarding from your existing phone system to Mia — and we'll help with that too.
Does Mia replace my office staff?
No — Mia takes the load off your team. She handles routine calls, appointments, and reminders so your staff can focus on higher-value work. For more complex requests, Mia reliably forwards to the right person.
What about data protection?
GDPR-compliant, fully hosted in Germany (Frankfurt am Main). Every account has a strictly isolated data space. We use encryption at the highest level and are ISO 27001 certification in progress. A data processing agreement (DPA) is available on request.
Can Mia handle inbound AND outbound calls?
Yes — and this is exactly what sets HalloMia apart from most competitors. Mia not only takes calls but also actively phones your customers — for appointment reminders, confirmations, lead qualification, or sales campaigns. Fully automated.
Which languages does Mia speak?
German and English by default. On the Business and Enterprise plans we also add French, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, and Polish. Mia recognises the caller's language automatically and switches seamlessly.
Can I tailor Mia to my business?
Absolutely. Greetings, tone of voice, voice itself, terminology, workflows — all individually configurable. On the Business plan you can even give Mia a custom name and a custom voice.
What does a call minute cost?
Beyond the volume included in your plan you pay inbound from €0.10/min (1,500-min pack €150) or €0.12/min (500-min pack €60). Outbound ranges from €0.17 to €0.22/min. Minute packs expire after 90 days and can be topped up flexibly from the dashboard. Annual payment gives you 15 % off. There are no hidden setup fees — only the optional White-Glove service for €149 (one-off).
Can Mia book appointments directly?
Yes. Mia integrates with Google Calendar, Microsoft 365, and the common practice/law-firm software. She suggests free slots, confirms on the call, and sends an SMS confirmation — no input from you.
